I, as a new member of American Speed, agree to the terms named below. All of the information that I have provided is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge. If, at any time, I choose to terminate this agreement, I understand that it is my responsibility to contact American Speed inform them. I will return any membership identification and vinyl logos of sponsors. I understand that invoking membership benefits, including but not limited to sponsor discounts, is fraudulent and I will not take such actions once the agreement has been terminated. American Speed reserves the right to change or terminate this agreement at any time and I will be notified within five (5) business days of any change. This contract is effective immediately.

I, am the legal guardian of the applicant. I understand that the minor named is joining a local chapter of American Speed and I have read and agree to the terms outlined in this document.

Terms of Agreement

1. I recognize that the marks of American-Speed.com and the name of American Speed are the property of American Speed and I will never use, or authorize others to use, the name of American Speed in assocation with my name, my person or my likeness in any way which might harm American Speed. If American Speed notifies me that any use of the name or the marks of American Speed by me or with my authorization is, in their judgment, likely to harm American Speed, I will immediately discontinue such use.
2. I will permit my name, photographs, pictures and endorsement rights to be used by such firms or corporations as may be approved and selected by American Speed, and I will abide by the terms and conditions of the agreement between American Speed and such firms or corporations regarding my services for advertising and promotional uses.
3. I authorize American Speed and anyone duly licensed by them to televise, photograph, broadcast and/or make radio, television, motion picture recordings, video tapes or motion picture films in media throughout the world. Any photographs, tapes and films made of me for trade, advertising and any other purpose or purposes as a member of American Speed either individually or as a member of a group as between me and American Speed shall be the sole and exclusive property of American Speed.
4. I understand that chapters of American Speed are the exclusive property of American Speed and that all chapters must abide by the national American Speed rules, bylaws and standards.
5. I will actively participate in club meets and events.
6. I will not attend American Speed meets or events intoxicated.
7. I agree to hold American Speed harmless for any injury, illness, loss of personal property or any other such claim that might arise during club meets and/or events whether my presence is actual or constructive.
8. I understand that the American Speed National Board of Directors may have certain contracts and commitments with club sponsors and affiliates, and that said contracts shall be binding upon me, and I will carry out and perform such contracts.
9. As a member of American Speed, I will display the vinyl logo of all sponsors based in the state of my respective chaper. I will display the logos at all times unless I get expressed consent from American Speed for a definite period of time. I will get permission for each instance in which I remove sponsor logos. I will always display sponsor logos at club meets and events.
10. I will pay club dues in a timely fashion. I understand that it is my responsibility to contact American Speed if, for any reason, I cannot pay the dues and I desire to receive aid or a dispensation.
11. American Speed is a non-profit organization. None of my dues will be used to fund non-club-related expenses. These expenses include but are not limited to advertising, website maintenance, entry fees for car shows, and events. No funds will be dispersed for personal use.
12. This agreement shall solely and exclusively determine my rights, privileges and responsibilities to American Speed and no oral or other written statement shall be binding upon me. Should any provision of this agreement be void or unenforceable, such provision shall by deemed omitted and this agreement with such provision omitted shall remain in full force and effect.
